After the syrup has been removed from the boiler is is filtered through cloth filters which hang over a syrup holding bin. From there the sap is relased into clean stainless steel buckets and reheated in the bottling machine for the final time. When the desierd temperature has been reached it is poured directly into bottles by way of a valve. You can see this process of bottling the sap in the picture above. The bottles are then capped and labeled and are ready for sale in the school bookstore and at the annual Mother's Day pancake breakfast.
