Thwing Creek

 Drainage:  Chagrin River, East Branch
Flow:  Medium, somewhat less than Sulfur Springs
 Summer Temperature: 20 degrees C
 Watershed Area:  1067 acres
Stability: Average, signs of reasonably high flows
 Substrate:  Sandstone cobble
 Habitat:  Good
 Overall rating (1-10):  5
Comments:  Average potential stream. It certainly needs to be investigated more upstream because it shows some potential. The only area that has currently been investigated was at the mouth of the stream where it runs alongside a tree nursery, which may not be a representative stretch of stream.
