Holden Creek

 Drainage:  Chagrin River, East Branch
Flow:  Medium, similar to Sulfur Springs
 Summer Temperature:  19 degrees C
 Watershed Area:  1467 acres
 Stability: Excellent
 Substrate:  clay. cobble and sandstone
Habitat:  Good, nice holes and riffles
 Overall rating (1-10):  7
Comments:  Wonderful stream, with a watershed almost entirely within the Holden Arboretum. Reasonably spring fed, though it has relatively little Sharon sandstone. Though it is almost all park owned, it is still relatively secluded, making it an ideal spot for native brook trout reintroduction.
